《泥土》是落差草原WWWW自成軍以來，第一張完整長度的專輯。從「自然」出發，用各種詩、聲音採集等不同形式的創作及體驗，去學習及探索「台灣」這塊我們所生長的土地上藴涵的訊息。

整張專輯皆由我們自行製作與錄製，結束兩次台東的行程之後，我們回到台北的工作室，以兩週的時間編寫新歌，再以兩天的時間於工作室將新歌錄製完成，由Forests樂團的Jon幫我們錄音、混音，以及同樣身為音樂人／藝術家的賴士超參與協同製作。整張專輯都在我們的工作室以及Jon的家完成討論及後製。

《Soil》is the first studio album of Prairie WWWW since established. Basic on “nature”, we combined several kinds of poems, collected sounds, etc. in order to compose, experience, study and discover the signal deposit in the mother land “Taiwan”.

We produced and recorded the whole album by ourselves. After circuit twice around Taitung, we‘re back to our studio in Taipei, composed new pieces for two weeks, and then spent two whole days recording the new songs. Jon from Forests helped us recording and mixing. The musician /artist, Shi-Chao Lai, also joined us for collaboration. Discussion on the concept and post-production of the whole album progressed at Jon’s place and our studio.
